~Brian Regan~

Brian Regan... what a great show! The thing I loved most about this concert was that I was able to sit through the whole thing, next to my grandma and not feel uncomfortable with his jokes.  He is hilarious, clean, and very entertaining.

Thank you grandma for thinking of your granddaughter to spend the night with and take to the concert!!

I love this lady. She is the sweetest grandma.

Horrible picture... but I wasn't supposed to be taking one anyways, so this will have to do.

An experience of a lifetime

For some people, this is a weekly thing, but for Nate and I... this was a once in a lifetime experience.  We were able to be apart of the Jazz 100 club last night.  It was such an amazing experience.  The game started at 7:00 pm but dinner started at 5:30 pm.  After we got FREE front row parking, we headed up to the top floor of the Energy Solutions Arena. There, we were greated by all sorts of employees, taking our coats, seating us to a table, and best of all... a huge wonderful buffet.  We seriously overly stuffed ourselves... but of course left room for a giant waffle cone.  Mmm...  By this time, it was time for the game to start.  I could not believe our seats.

It doesn't get better than this.
We were on the front row, first seat, first of everything.  IT WAS AMAZING!!! We could hear everything the players were saying, we were so close we could smell them... literally.  ha ha.

Being in these seats was like living a completely different life.  Everything was just given to you.  Everyone treated you like royalty. It was pretty sweet. During halftime, we went to a different room for more drinks, snacks, popcorn, nachos, ice cream, and candy.  We then again, stuffed our faces and made ourselves sick.

One of the best parts about our seats was that we were where the bear, Jazz dancers, and all of the entertainers came out.  We talked and laughed with the Bear, lil Bear and ushers.  It was awesome and such a sweet night.

Lil Bear.

And last, but not least... we owe all of this to Nate's parents.  They invited us to go with them.  Thank you thank you thank you for such an incredible night that Nate and I will never forget.

Oh, and... JAZZ WON!!! They killed the Clippers! :)

I love to see the temple

Over the weekend Nate and I were able to go to the temple and be apart of two temple sealings.  One for Nate's good friend Evan and the other for one of my best friends since Kindergarten, Cindy.  It was such an amazing day.  It started out snowing pretty bad, but as soon as it was picture time outside, it stopped and was BEAUTIFUL on the temple grounds.

Best friends at Evan's wedding dinner.

Congrats to Cindy, her husband Josh and their two sweet little boys Zach and Corey... and to Evan and his new bride Janae. Love you guys!

Christmas Card Photos

This year Nate and I decided to send out Christmas cards for the first time. We had alot of fun taking them. ENJOY!

This is the only pic we could get Roxy to somewhat look at the camera.
She was way too excited about the ducks in the pond.

My niece Ellie.  I can't wait for Nate to be a dad.  He is the sweetest uncle.

New Tradition

This weekend, Nate and I started a new tradition.  Our very own road trip to chop down our Christmas tree.  We had so much fun.  This has been something that Nate has always wanted to do, so this year we made it happen.  We packed up and left Saturday morning and made our way to Price, Utah. Roxy was sick... so she tagged along and slept THE ENTIRE DRIVE...

Picked up our tag and map at a local Price hardware store.

We made a few stops, hiked tonz, played in the snow

 took a family picture

And found our tree!

  Roxy had a blast

It's not the prettiest/fullest tree, but the fact that we worked so hard to find it and bring it home, makes it my very favorite tree we've ever had.

It was such a great family actitvity.  I can not wait to do it again next year and for all the years to come.

OBSESSED

In all of my 25 years, I have never been too much of a crafter.  I'd do a craft here and there for Young Womens, but I would never ever spend my own money on a craft.

Thesse past 6 months or so, I have been obsessed with "The Wood Connection" and have crafts coming out of my ears.  I love Love LOVE painting, decorating, and gluing.

Some of my friends and I started doing craft night a few months ago.  One night a month we all get together, go to The Wood Connection, Michaels, Joanns, etc and pick out a craft to do that night.  We have all enjoyed it so much and hope to continue doing it monthly in the future.  Here are a few of my latest crafts.

The "O" in the HOME is interchangeable. I have a few different ones that I made. This is obviously the July month "O".

I'm so excited for Halloween so I can put up my new decorations!
A pen pot I made for work. We've yet to lose a pen :)

SURPRISE!

This year I decided to do something different for Nate's birthday.  He's never had a surprise party, so I thought it'd be fun to try it this year.  It ended up being PERFECT! It stayed a surprise until he turned the corner of our backyard.  Thank you to everyone who helped out that day .  It couldn't have been more perfect.

On our way to the party. He had no idea :)
