Snowshoeing

WHAT A BLAST!!! Nate got some snowshoes from my parents for Christmas this year, so he found some on KSL for me so that we could go together.  Since it's almost February and we haven't had any snow yet... yesterday was our first chance to go try our snowshoes out.  We went just up the hill from our house to Corner Canyon by the Draper Temple. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! No one had been there yet... so we had some fresh powder and were able to make our own tracks.  We took Roxy along, and she had a blast!

I love these two

If this picture doesn't say "happy", I don't know what does. :)

It was so much fun to do this as a family.  I'm sure many more snowshoeing excursions are in our future and I can't wait :)

~Brian Regan~

Brian Regan... what a great show! The thing I loved most about this concert was that I was able to sit through the whole thing, next to my grandma and not feel uncomfortable with his jokes.  He is hilarious, clean, and very entertaining.

Thank you grandma for thinking of your granddaughter to spend the night with and take to the concert!!

I love this lady. She is the sweetest grandma.

Horrible picture... but I wasn't supposed to be taking one anyways, so this will have to do.

An experience of a lifetime

For some people, this is a weekly thing, but for Nate and I... this was a once in a lifetime experience.  We were able to be apart of the Jazz 100 club last night.  It was such an amazing experience.  The game started at 7:00 pm but dinner started at 5:30 pm.  After we got FREE front row parking, we headed up to the top floor of the Energy Solutions Arena. There, we were greated by all sorts of employees, taking our coats, seating us to a table, and best of all... a huge wonderful buffet.  We seriously overly stuffed ourselves... but of course left room for a giant waffle cone.  Mmm...  By this time, it was time for the game to start.  I could not believe our seats.

It doesn't get better than this.
We were on the front row, first seat, first of everything.  IT WAS AMAZING!!! We could hear everything the players were saying, we were so close we could smell them... literally.  ha ha.

Being in these seats was like living a completely different life.  Everything was just given to you.  Everyone treated you like royalty. It was pretty sweet. During halftime, we went to a different room for more drinks, snacks, popcorn, nachos, ice cream, and candy.  We then again, stuffed our faces and made ourselves sick.

One of the best parts about our seats was that we were where the bear, Jazz dancers, and all of the entertainers came out.  We talked and laughed with the Bear, lil Bear and ushers.  It was awesome and such a sweet night.

Lil Bear.

And last, but not least... we owe all of this to Nate's parents.  They invited us to go with them.  Thank you thank you thank you for such an incredible night that Nate and I will never forget.

Oh, and... JAZZ WON!!! They killed the Clippers! :)

I love to see the temple

Over the weekend Nate and I were able to go to the temple and be apart of two temple sealings.  One for Nate's good friend Evan and the other for one of my best friends since Kindergarten, Cindy.  It was such an amazing day.  It started out snowing pretty bad, but as soon as it was picture time outside, it stopped and was BEAUTIFUL on the temple grounds.

Best friends at Evan's wedding dinner.

:)

Top of the Roof
Congrats to Cindy, her husband Josh and their two sweet little boys Zach and Corey... and to Evan and his new bride Janae. Love you guys!

Christmas Card Photos

This year Nate and I decided to send out Christmas cards for the first time. We had alot of fun taking them. ENJOY!

This is the only pic we could get Roxy to somewhat look at the camera.
She was way too excited about the ducks in the pond.

My niece Ellie.  I can't wait for Nate to be a dad.  He is the sweetest uncle.
